The National office of Equipment and Accessories for Handicapped People is an Algerian establishment, under supervision of the social protection and Ministry of Labour, created by the decree N° 88-97 of the 09/02/1988, to meet in an effective way the material needs expressed by the people's handicapped.

Missions

To ensure the manufacture and the realization of the equipment, accessories and assistances technical for the people's handicapped.
- To take part in elaboration of the standards of matter equipement, d'accessoires and d'aides technical for handicapped
people and to take care of the application of the standards stopped.
- To make any study, seek and take any quantitative and qualitative measurement for the amelioration of the production concerned with its object
- Possibilities of readjustment which make it possible to fulfill the requirements of the modern life . Beyond these missions and others, who depending of the technical aspect, ONAAPH must work and contribute to the promotion of the chances egality of the people's handicapped and their social integration.
